SCB has completed another Rehab on Steroids!
It was a job they said COULDN’T be done...that we were biting off more than we could chew.
Yet April 12th marked the completion of yet anotherone of our fast-track, one day, kitchen and bath remodeling efforts done for the San Diego Housing Commission.
This time the project consisted of 113 apartments at nine different sites in the City of San Diego. Sun Country's Remodeling Dream Team completed an average of four apartments per day in less than eight hours .
How did we do it?
The residents left their apartments at 8:00 AM and returned at 5:00 PM to new kitchen cabinets, countertops, sinks, garbage disposals, hoods, and stove backsplashes. Also in place at each unit were new bath vanities and sinks, medicine cabinets and mirrors, linen closets, paint, flooring repairs, and new coved base. Units that did not previously have garbage disposals required added electrical for the new disposals.
It's very unusual for this level of remodel to be completed in less than two days. But SCB's ability to coordinate this type of project - literally a minute-by-minute process - has made the unusual more of the norm for some of Sun Country's clients.
Sun Country thanks the San Diego Housing Commission for this opportunity, as well as for the assistance of its staff in organizing this fast-paced schedule. Sun Country has now completed 139 similar remodels for the Housing Commission in the past nine months.
