Project notes: Villa de Vida Poway provides 50, one-bedroom and four, two-bedroom apartment homes in the city of Poway primarily for residents with developmental disabilities.  This beautiful, independent living community is located at the corner of Oak Knoll Road and Pomerado Road.  Villa de Vida, Inc. will offer a variety of support services to residents of Villa de Vida Poway to ensure access to community resources and an array of social programs that improve and enrich the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Project notes: The Hillside Views renovation project refreshed 300 apartment homes, and preserved them in order that they may deliver decades more service and comfort for the families who live there.  In addition, a new community center was built which will become a new focus for resident gatherings.

Project notes: The Grove is new community of affordable homes designed for seniors age 62 and older. This phase of the new generation of homes includes 67 apartment homes, a new community center, a swimming pool, a variety of childrens’ services, and a LEED Platinum sustainability rating.

PLACENTIA VETERANS VILLAGE

Placentia, California

Partners: Mercy Housing California, and New Directions
Project notes:The City of Placentia partnered with the County of Orange, Mercy Housing California, and New Directions to plan, design, construct and administer the Placentia Veterans Village, a permanent supportive housing development that serves military veterans who are homeless or disabled. The development site is a 3.65-acre site comprised of two parc. The development includes 50 furnished apartment homes, a courtyard, community garden, recreation room, energy efficient design and appliances, computer room, and resident services offices. The state-of-the-art development is LEED Gold certified, utilizing energy efficient design principles and building materials. Completed 2020
